New Brunswick’s annual River Watch program has begun, and early indications suggest good news — the snowpack’s water content is about 20% lower than usual. While this reduces the immediate flood risk, officials caution that rapid warming or heavy rain could still cause issues, particularly with unpredictable ice jams.
To stay informed, monitor the live camera of the bridge and check the current water levels. Stay prepared and follow updates from local authorities.
