Perth-Andover provides many opportunities for children and adults to better themselves educationally. Not only do we hold our standards high for education, but our schools also have various extra-curricular activities such as drama, sports teams, and music.
Public Schools
Perth-Andover has 3 public schools: Andover Elementary (kindergarten through grade 5), Perth-Andover Middle School (grade 6 through 8), and Southern Victoria High School (grade 9 through 12). Our schools are part of the Anglophone West School District.
Adults are encouraged to improve their career options at the Carleton-Victoria Community Vocational Board, which also hosts support groups for people of all ages and abilities.
The Western Valley Adult Learning Centre also provides many different learning initiatives, including basic literacy, computer literacy and GED preparation.
Upper Valley Autism Resource Centre also offers children’s programming and support to families.
For Pre-schoolers, parents can take advantage of free Storytime programs at the Perth-Andover Public Library.
Imagination Library of Canada is a free book gifting program devoted to inspiring a love of reading in the hearts of children everywhere.
