Flood Mitigation Project

 Fire Hall

The Perth-Andover Fire Department provides essential fire protection, rescue, and emergency response services to the community of Perth-Andover and surrounding areas. The department responds to approximately 150 to 170 calls annually, including structure and grass fires, motor vehicle accidents, and water rescues, making it a critical front‑line service for public safety. The department is supported by a dedicated team of 24 volunteer members who serve the community year‑round.

Relocating the fire department into the new municipal building will significantly improve functionality and operational efficiency. The modern facility will include dedicated training space and a room to support Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) operations, allowing for improved preparedness, coordination, and response during emergency situations. The building layout will also provide better access and movement for fire apparatus, improving the ability of fire trucks to enter and exit the building safely and efficiently.

By moving the fire department out of the flood zone and into a purpose‑built, resilient facility, the new building will help ensure uninterrupted emergency services, better protect equipment and vehicles, and enhance the department’s ability to serve the community both now and in the future.
