FireSmart™ is a national program that helps reduce the risk of wildfire damage to homes, properties, and communities. With practical steps and smart planning, we can all play a part in keeping Southern Victoria safer during wildfire season.

How You Can Get FireSmart™
Home & Property Owners
You can reduce wildfire risks by:
- Clearing dry brush and leaves near your home
- Storing firewood at least 10m away from buildings
- Choosing fire-resistant plants for landscaping
